Southwold Pier, waves and holiday makers (Suffolk)

Southwold Pier is very busy during one of the last fine days of the early autumn. Holiday makers are enjoying the sun, gulls are enjoying the water, and the waves are breaking on the beach. The original Pier was built here in 1900. It fell into dereliction, and was restored and re-opened in 2001.
