Life on the River Cam

Flowing through the centre of Cambridge, the River Cam is fully integrated into the life of the city. Rowers, houseboats, pedestrians, boat houses (here, Lady Margaret and Christ's College boathouses) all share the river and area around it. The green space to the left is Midsummer Common. Bridges - here, Victoria Bridge - connect the two sides of the river.
