Seljuk Shipyard, Alanya (Turkey)

The Seljuk Shipyard in Alanya (Turkey) was built in 1227 by the Sultan Alaeddin Keykubat. Alanya is a small city, located between the Taurus Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. The shipyard was used during both the Seljuk and Ottoman periods for shipbuilding and repair.
