Whalebone House, High Street, Cley village. Horse teeth and bones, cattle bones and sheep/goat bones are embedded into a decorative frieze beneath the eaves of the roof. Some of the bones are too eroded to be identified from ground level:
row 1 - unidentifiable; row 2 - horse cheekteeth, mostly lower; row 3 - horse checkteeth, mostly lower; row 4 - horse cheekteeth, upper; row 5 - horse distal 2nd phalanges; row 6 - probably large pig or small cow proximal 1st phalanges; row 7 - probably horse proximal metacarpals; row 8 - horse distal metapodials; row 9 - sheep/goat/deer distal metapodials; row 10 - horse distal 1st phalanges; row 11 - horse proximal 1st phalanges. From the street no whale bones were visible anywhere.
